Halloween!

I hope that everyone had a great Halloween! Katelyn and Kylie had so much fun dressing up and going trick-or-treating. They thought it was pretty cool that so many people were giving them candy. But their most favorite part about Halloween was the pumpkin! They loved that pumpkin ever since we bought it about 3 weeks ago. They cried today when Troy took it out to the dumpster. Kylie is the duck (thanks Mandy for letting us use it) and Katelyn is a Bee (a costume Troy's mom made a long time ago). Kylie loves the pumpkin.

Halloween Party!

Our ward had a halloween party last week that was so much fun! This is a picture of me, Vandi, Whitney, and Kelsie trying to eat donuts off a string withouth using our hands! It was so much harder than it looked! Me and Vandi almost kissed a couple of times. Kelsie won the race. The four couples with the best costumes got to pie the bishopric. Well, our the second counselor acutally left before it so they asked Troy to take his place. (Probably because Troy was teasing bishop all night about it and because he is the type of person to do stuff like that.) Troy is the one on the left. It was so fun to watch! Kylie was sad because she thought that her daddy was getting hurt and she cried during it. Katelyn thought it was so funny and she was laughing pretty hard. (This definitly shows their different personalities!) Troy had a hard time washing it all off.

So Kylie and I were spending some much needed one on one time together since all my attention about week ago was going to my sick little Katelyn. (She is better now). Troy took Katelyn for a drive to get her to go to sleep and Kylie and I were sitting on the couch reading stories. I decided I wanted to try to get Kylie to smile for the camera. She smiles all of the time except for when the camera comes out. This little teaching moment was very successful! She had fun smiling for the camera and then I would show her the picture. We had fun taking pictures!

After teaching Kylie that you are supposed to smile for the camera, I was so excited to teach Katelyn! Well, this is what she did.... It is so funny because she smiles all of the time but when the camera comes out she hates getting pictures and will close her eyes on most of them because she hates the flash. I thought this attempt of hers to smile for the camera was so cute.

Family Date

Last weekend we went on a horse and carriage ride around Rexburg. It was so much fun! And the ride lasted a long time too. The girls loved the horses and it was so funny because on the ride all they could see was the backside of the horses and they kept saying, "horsie bums!" We let them pet the horses when we were done with the ride. They really look a lot alike in this picture, huh? This isn't the best picture but I was taking it from the carriage and it was bumpy. It was a really beautiful evening.

I was tagged a couple times to do this photo tag, so here goes. Sorry I took me so long to get it up. What I am supposed to do is go to my pictures, go to the 4th file and then open up the 4th picture and blog about it.

This picture is Kylie when she was 13 months old playing with a basket ball. Katelyn is watching her. The girls love balls so much!! Especially basketballs!!! That was one of their first words. A sorry to the Frongers who live below us because they probably hear balls bouncing all the time on the time! Shh..... they are going to get a little basketball hoop with baketballs for Christmas!!
