Yes we have left Iowa. We loved it. We miss our friends.
But we are Home.
And nothing can take the place of that.
We are with family.
And nothing is better.
I have never been more grateful for the family I have.
This has been a difficult time for us. Everything has just seemed to go wrong all at the same time. Trying to pack and move while Troy was in school and with new baby was beyond hard. But my sweet mom and brother came out to help me. My little brother took the kids to the zoo, science center, and park so that I could pack. My mom helped clean, pack and then she drove the entire way so that I could take care of the kids.
Troy recently left to start rotations which will be a challenge in the months to come. Troy's parents have been amazing and have helped me more than they will know. They have given so much of their time to help me with the kids and have helped in every other way possible.
My sweet sister-in-law Michelle stayed with me at my apartment that first night Troy was gone, stayed up late with me talking, took care of Tyson so I could sleep in, and then took me to get a pedicure and lunch.
That last few days I have been grateful and overwhelmed with the knowledge that I will be well taken care of this year.
The kids have been in Heaven. They have loved every minute.
Motorcycles, Trucks, S'mores: life couldn't be better.
Had to get a picture of Mason's first motorcycle accident.
(He actually just tripped as he was walking and face planted into a motorcycle).
Grandpa talking the kids for a ride in the big semi trucks that he works on.
One lucky two year old boy.
These pictures say: "Summer!"
Pushing Uncle Trent in the wagon. This was after Trent and already pulled them all over the yard.
Mason and his cousin Logan.
Katelyn and Kylie learning how to ride without training wheels. They did awesome!
Yep, we are loving being HOME!

I am glad that you are home and it was so good to see you!! I'm not sure if you were serious about coming to visit, but you totally should!!! It would be so fun. That's a long way to drive by yourself with kids though, but we would love to have you guys!!
