Troy

This is a little late but the end of last month Troy came home for a week. It was the first time we were able to see him in 3 months. He even surprised me and came home a day earlier than he told me. I was in complete shock when I saw him at the door. It was the best week ever. But it was defiantly the worst goodbye ever when he left again. We dropped him off in Idaho Falls so the shuttle could take him to the airport and as we drove away Mason started bawling and screaming, "Go back! Daddy! Get him. Go back!"
It was horrible. The worst moment ever. It broke my heart.
We are so ready to be done and to have him back home.
We are now going on a two month stretch without seeing him and can't wait until the end of October when he will spend another week at home.

While Troy was home, his parents watched the kids so we could go on a date. It was one my most favorite dates I have been on with him!
We loaded the motorcycles in his Dad's truck, took a picnic dinner, and went to the mountains.
We rode up the canyon has much as we could and then hiked the rest of the way to the top. It was an amazing view.
This is what happens when you are used to humidity and you come to dry Idaho. Lot's of bloody noses this week for Troy.
Troy showing off a little, and yes, I was impressed.

4th year is the WORST!!! I'm so ready to be done. I don't know how you went for 3 whole months. Ugh. We all deserve to win a million dollars, i swear. Anyhow, it looks like it was a fun date! Glad you got to see him.

Carrie you are amazing! I admire your strength. I hope the time you get to spend together crawls, so you can take in every moment.
