Troy has been busy with a full schedule of classes. He works a couple of hours a week on campus as a TA, teaching one of the biology labs. Troy has been busy this fall with applications to medical and podiatry schools. He is having a very hard time deciding between the two and has gone back and forth for about a year now! He plans on just interviewing at both schools and then making a decision. I am currently taking one class and also doing an internship this semester. For my internship I will be involved in a program provided by the District Health Office called the Fit and Fall Proof Program. I will be teaching exercise (balance, strength, flexiblity, mobility) classes to the elderly. Katelyn and Kylie are growing up so fast and we love having them as part of our family. They are going to be in the Toddler Program here on campus provided by the Child Education students.

Troy flew to Kansas City, Missouri today for an interview that he has tomorrow at their medical school. He was pretty excited and I asked him if he was nervous but he said he wasn't. We are grateful for Calvin's brother, Cameron and his wife, for picking Troy up from the airport and letting him sleep at their house and then taking him to the campus and then the airport again. It saved us a lot of money!
Good luck Troy!!! We love you.Kansas City Campus

Carrie!! It's been a while since I last talked with you. It's good to hear that your family is doing well. Good luck to Troy in deciding what he wants to do for a living. My uncle is a podiatrist and he loves doing it. He makes a ton of money too! Doesn't seem to be as stressful as being a doctor. Or maybe it is. We are doing well and are going to be visiting Boston next week which I am ecstatic about! We'll post pics when we get back. Take Care. Love ya!
Carrie...can I just tell you that I think you are one of the most amazing girls I have ever met, and I really mean that. You have such a light about you that I really look up to. I just think that every time I see you, so I figured I'd let you know. Thank you for your example: )
Hey Carrie,
My sister is actually living in Kansas City, MI right now, because her husband is going to the Medical School there. If you or Troy have any questions at all I can give you Kristy's phone number. They really love it there. Her blog address is www.marchantjr.blogspot.com.
Let me know how things go! Good luck! (If you every drive by Carriage House Apartments, you should stop by my house... it is the one with the white pillars in front.)
