September

September has flown by and we have been super busy everyday.

Troy

This has been one of the most busy semesters of Troy's life!! This semester has been full of tests, night classes, and work. Troy is working at the Country Club two nights a week. The extra money and free golf are nice!
Speaking of golf . . . Troy has come to love that sport and wished he could have more time for it.

Carrie

I have been busy being a mom and playing with my kids. I have been teaching piano lessons and now have five students.

Last weekend I was able to go on such a fun trip to Salt Lake City to celebrate my sister Megan's 30th birthday. Every time one of my sisters turns 30 we get together for a sisters and mom trip!

All 6 of us sisters with my mom.

Loved eating at Olive Garden. After eating we just sat around and talked since we didn't have to be anywhere or get back to kids. It was so nice and the best part was when we ordered 3 slices of different cheesecake which we brought back to our hotel to eat while we stayed up late talking and laughing.

My little brother and my Dad joined us Saturday night after their BYU game in Provo.
All together. This does not happen that often. Happy Birthday Megan.

Katelyn

Playing at the park

Katelyn and Kylie started preschool again this month and go twice a week.
They absolutely love it!
Except for the fact that their teachers always call them the wrong names. And they even wear name tags.
One day I was informed that Katelyn and Kylie got in trouble for switching name tags in class. I thought it was kind of funny, but their teachers did not. The girls told me that they switched because their teachers were calling them the wrong names. So I think they just thought they had the wrong name tags on and were helping their teachers out.

All ready for school!

Katelyn is such a mommy's girl. Troy and I both have noticed how much she talks and acts like me.
The past few weeks Katelyn and has had a real fear of growing up. One day she put it together that I was once a little girl and I grew up and got married and moved away from my mom.
She will come to me crying saying that she doesn't want grow up and get married and leave. She always says, "You have to stop feeding me mom" (since I tell them they will get bigger if they eat their food). It breaks my heart and I just hold her and reassure her that she never has to leave me, even if she grows up. She just sobs and says "ok mom".
She has no idea that one day she will change her mind, so I am just going to love it while it lasts.

Kylie

Sorry, can't get the font to go small.

Kylie on the other hand is very different. She is so much like her dad and very independent. She can't wait to grow up and tells most people that she is 5. Every time and I mean EVERY TIME we eat she will come up next to me and stand tall to see if she has grown bigger and I always tell her she looks taller.

For the last month Kylie has been obsessed with a dog at the pet store. We went about a month ago and she fell in love with a little Beagle puppy. She asks me everyday if we can go to the pet store. That is seriously all she wants to do and that puppy is all she ever talks about. You can't have a conversation with here that doesn't include her puppy. I keep telling her we can't get a dog until we have a house.

We go to the pet store about twice a week and it is now

getting to the point that she doesn't want to leave. She will just sit by that puppy and she is the happiest girl in the world and it makes her cry to leave.
This is another thing that breaks my heart.
One of these times that puppy isn't going to be there, what then?

Reading to Katelyn (when they are supposed to be sleeping!)

Mason

Mason loves to swing!
But mostly he just loves to watch his sisters

This sweet little boy loves that he has learned to army crawl! He has started to get to where he wants to go. He is such a happy baby and loves to have people talk to him.

That was so sad about Katelyn, and it's so funny that Kylie is the opposite. I love that they switched name tags, that was hilarious! Your kids are getting so big, Mason is growing up fast. Wish you were closer so Kylie could play with our beagle, and Allie would love to play with your girls again!

I miss those little ones so much! They are growing up so fast. Grandma's arms need to hold them. You are such a good mom. There is nothing that touches your heart so much as being a mom and watching these little angels from heaven grow. Thanks for keeping in touch through your blog. Love You!
