November

Katelyn and Kylie finished up their soccer season the first week of November.

They did great and loved every minute of the soccer practice and games. And we completely lucked out because they had the best coaches.  Seriously, these guys were amazing and they truly loved the girls and not only taught them a lot but they had so much fun with them.  We couldn't have asked for better coaches.

At the end of the season, the coaches handed out trophies to all of the girls.

We were able to go to the zoo a couple times in November.  The girls love this zoo because their favorite animal (cheetahs) are at this zoo. Plus, Tyson loves monkeys and couldn't get enough of this big guy. Mason is still terrified of gorillas and wouldn't even look at him.

We have had the opportunity to become friends with a pretty amazing guy here in Colorado.
He is a famous rodeo star and a 5 time Bareback Riding World Champion and holds a lot of other records and has taught a lot of cowboys that have gone on to win things. He even won a gold medal back when the rodeo was in the Olympics.
Unfortunately when there was flooding in Colorado, his house and farm were flooded.  They were able to save all of the animals except a few chickens but his house was destroyed.
We were at his ranch the day they were taking the rest of the house down.
It was sad and his sweet old Mom held on to my arm as we watched the house being torn down.

Troy trying to help the best that he could.
Despite all of that, we spent the entire afternoon there and the kids loved every minute.
He really wants to teach Katelyn and Kylie how to ride horses, but since it was too loud with the house being torn down we just pet them this time, but he really wants us to go back so he can teach the girls.

The kids did get to ride the ponies though, and they loved it!

Thanksgiving this year was great! We were lucky to have both my parents and Troy's parents come.  It was so nice having both Moms helping me cook!  I am so sad I didn't take more pictures, but things just get busy sometimes! We had a really good time with them.
